In this tutorial, we're going to take a look at customizing your VP profile. You will see customizable options of your profile on both your front and back-end.

First, a look at options on your front end.

Updating your image.

Scroll your mouse over the edit button. It will bring up a drop down menu on which you may click "Update Your Picture."

There are over 50 different premade avatars (courtesy of Inii of K.I.) or you may upload your own profile picture with the proportions of 300x300. In this case, I picked a galka as my avatar by clicking the radio button at the right of it.

When you've made your selection or uploaded your picture, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and hit "confirm change."

Now now that's enough about pictures. Let's look at a few other things on your front end.

Uploading Videos and Music.

As you can see we now have an avatar, under that, a video, under that, your profile tabs, and very last, your mp3 player. Under the video, as you can see from this picture, you can submit new videos from Youtube or Google Video. Submit as many as you like. Users may use the left and right arrows located on the video to scroll along a user's submitted videos.

Your tabs show you information regauding you and the community. Users leave comments on your testimonial tab, your blog tab shows the blogs you've submitted, etc.

And lastly, your music. Above the mp3 player is a link to submit an MP3 ONLY file. You may upload as many songs as you like until your quota is reached. If you reach your size quota, you will have to delete a song to upload a new one.

Now for the back-end of your profiles control panel...where the magic happens.

Put your mouse over your edit button again, highlight and click on Update your profile.

This will take you to your back-end.

Banner Tab - Your first tab lets you submit banners that will display under your videos in your profile.

Profile Tab - Here you can modify everything that goes in the right colum of your profile.

Contact info - This tab easily allows you to change your e-mail and password, if you so choose.

Testimonial tab - This allows you to set peramiters to keep your comments private or public.

Messanger Tab - This allows you to insert your messenger SN adresses for your friends to see.

Customize Tab - Change your profiles background, link colors, etc.

Profile URL - Changes the Url of your profile I.E - www.vanadielprofiles.com/demo to www.vanadielprofiles.com/demoking

MP3 Tab - This lets your edit parameters of your MP3 player to make it look and feel more unique.
