That ignoble, rusted chest turned up from the cluttered depths of Muckvix's Junk Shop in Lower Jeuno has divulged still more of its secrets. In the process, it continues to reveal the heretofore obscure history of the Crystal War in the form of biographical accounts of some of its most integral players. The archiving of the most recent installment of these priceless profiles has been completed, and the works released to the public for the first time in the latest scholarly journals.
A number of job and battle system adjustments have been scheduled for the next version update.
A host of new magic and job abilities will be added to a number of jobs for the next version update. For example, teleport spells for the white mage, a warp spell for the black mage, sneak ninjutsu for the ninja, elemental spirit MP absorption ability for the summoner, and new automaton weapon skills for the puppetmaster. Additions and adjustments are also in store for the two new jobs introduced in the Wings of the Goddess expansion.
The issue whereby certain restoration magic causes the character to become temporarily immobile, will be addressed. Up until now, casting cure on a character immediately after they initiate the attack command will result in that character becoming unable to move until spellcasting is complete, even after they have assumed battle stance. This immobility duration will be reduced drastically with the next version update.
We would like to introduce some more changes scheduled for the next version update, in addition to those mentioned in previous Topics postings.
Due to popular demand, the following new emote commands will be added. Now you can dance just like a real dancer, regardless of job, location, or situation!
It will be possible to summon the following monster families captured with fiendtrappers:
New items, "Sol Cap" and "Lunar Cap," will be offered asspecial gift items in the Adventurer Recruitment Program. -The Lunar Cap is scheduled to be added to special gift item list (A). New Items The "Emperor Band" will be added to the list of enchanted items that offer a bonus to experience points or limit points. Along with existing items, "Empress Band" and "Chariot Band," the "Emperor Band" can be obtained by trading your individual conquest points. Please note, however, that only one of the above three can be in your possession at any given time.
With the weather warming up and the sun's rays bathing Master's bedroom in toasty goodness, all I want to do is lie down and--Zzz...Zzzzzz...
Adjustments and additions to fellows have been scheduled for the next version update. -Magic and other abilities you use on party members will now also benefit the fellow you summoned.
Improvements to the battle system have been scheduled for the next version update. Battle Music Up until now, battle music would only be triggered when the player executes the "attack" command on an enemy. This has meant that battle music is not triggered when other commands, such as "magic," are used instead. Monster Name Text Color A new text color will be added to monster names, in order to differentiate those that are engaged with an alliance member as opposed to those engaged with players from another party. The names of monsters being engaged by an alliance member will now be displayed as reddish-purple. Macro and Marker Data Until now, it has been possible to store character macro and marker data only on the hard disk drives of players' game machines. However, the next version update will make it possible to also store this data on PlayOnline's servers. Now you can enjoy the convenience of using your very own user-defined macros no matter where you go! |
